The silver plate from the 17th century, Portugal, still bears distinctive Baroque decorative elements with its rich gilding, acanthus leaves and volute motifs. But on this embossed, chased plate there are also flowers and carefully carved, light birds close to the Rococo. With its 35 cm, it is an impressive representation of the luxurious splendour that is typical of the art of the period.
