Chinese spinach green jade plate with chrysanthemum decoration from the 19th century. The object stands in a hongmu carved holder, into which it fits precisely thanks to the patterned recesses. The plate is composed of a large chrysanthemum flower head, with 3 circular bands of petals at the front, the calyx and stem at the back, and additional smaller flower heads, stems and leaves around the edges.
