Bronze figure of Lord Krishna from 15th century India. Depicted on a double lotus pedestal, Krishna is in a dancing position, resting his right leg on a lotus flower and having his left arm raised up high. In his right arm, it is probably a conch shell, which is a symbol of purity and the “OM” sound. His body is adorned with necklaces, anklets, earrings, armbands and movable bracelets. His figure reflects beauty and the dancing position is the embodiment of pure joy, divine play and expression of bliss.
