Augsburg pineapple cup in fire-gilt silver
The cover of the 27.3 cm high cup is detachable, with a human figure standing at the top with hands on hips. Below are ornaments resembling angel wings. The stem of the goblet has a pineapple-shaped cup with ornate, curved motifs typical of the Baroque style. The base is simple, graceful and floral. There are several hallmarks on the upper and lower parts of the object: the first mark was made in Augsburg in 1645, followed by a seal of Brno around 1806-7, and then a tax exemption mark from 1804-10.
